Mechanical Engineering Study Program is one of the oldest study programs at ITK. Established in 2012 with 20 students from Kalimantan, the study program of Mechanical Engineering always tries to deliver the best experience for its student and potential student. At that time, the admission for ITK Students was carried out through SIMTek (ITK Entrance Selection). SIMTeK was the result of collaboration between ITS and the East Kalimantan Provincial Government. Lecturing activities from the first year to the third year are carried out on ITS Campus in Surabaya. Since 2015 all the academic and non-academic activities have been carried out at the ITK Campus in Karang Joang Balikpapan. Strong Scientific and Technical basis as well implementation in engineering field types of curriculum has been prepared to built competitive graduates with all needed skills for competing in engineering field of work.
