Two students of the Mechanical Engineering Study Program of the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) Hages Prima Thoriqu Razak and Anggara Abdi Sentosa who are members of the Zalacca and Braco teams have successfully passed and participated in the Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship competition (KMI 2019) in the KMI Expo agenda and the 2019 KMI Award at the Batam State Polytechnic on November 22-25, 2019.

Hages Prima said that the KMI Expo & KMI Award 2019 competition was the first event for the ITK campus to participate in Indonesian Student Entrepreneurship which is held annually. ITK managed to bring 5 teams to this competition, namely Zalacca, Braco, Sokavit, YOI Aquaculture, and Ricebowl Sampink. Hages Prima also said that in this competition the ITK campus was able to compete with campuses throughout Indonesia as evidenced by the participants who passed the 2019 KMI came from 104 universities throughout Indonesia. "This year we are targeting to qualify first because our campus is also relatively new but has been able to compete with campuses throughout Indonesia and hopefully next year we can bring even more teams, get champions and bring the name of the ITK campus in order to be better known by campuses throughout Indonesia,” said Hages Prima Thoriqu Razak.
