ITK Mechanical Engineering and UKM Hornbill participated directly in 2 National Car Competitions in 2 Weeks. The competitions being participated in are the 2023 Energy Saving Car Contest (KMHE) which will be held at the Ancol Formula E circuit, North Jakarta and the 2023 Indonesian Electric Car Competition (KMLI) which will be held at the Bandung State Polytechnic (POLBAN) campus. The Proto 3 Hornbill car as a prototype car with a 350-watt electric motor is prepared to take part in KMHE 2023 and the Hornbill Formula Evo 6+ with a 1.5 KW electric motor for KMLI 203. Even though it didn't get a podium, this participation is a comeback effort for the Hornbill after Covid 19 when there was no competition—held locally.
