Information
Dr. Andi is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering Dept. Institut Teknologi Kalimantan. His research and working area are metal alloy development in particular Titanium alloys and Fe-Cr alloy. The research focus involves the process of material development, fabrication/manufacturing, and characterization including the implementation of simulation in material research.
Dr. Andi studied mechanical engineering at Brawijaya University and Materials Science and Engineering at Torino University and Rennes University under ERASMUS MUNDUS Program MAMASELF. He finished his PhD (2013) at
the Ecole Polytechnique Federal de Lausanne (EPFL) and Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in the field of Fe-Cr alloys research using synchrotron technique.
From 2014 to 2016, He worked as Postdoctoral researcher at Institute Jean Lamour, to investigate phase transformation of titanium alloy. He was appointed as lecturer at the Institut Teknologi Kalimantan in 2017 and Assistant Professor in 2019.
